The fashion designer, Christian Siraino was born in Annapolis, Maryland where he studied fashion design at the Baltimore School for the Arts. His first design was at the age of 13. When he was rejected by the Fashion Institute of Technology, he moved to London, England to study at the American InterContinental University. In the senior year, he followed the instructions by his teachers and he interned at Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. After his graduation, he moved to NYC.

In 2008, his first collection was launched. He became popular after wining at the competition show Project Runway.
