Once upon a time, you needed an empire behind you to become a celebrity. Now, all you need is a free YouTube account, a webcam, and something interesting to say. Or you can start blogging. Over the past few years, blogging has also become an extremely competitive industry to be in.

Wendy Nguyen used to be a business manager but as much as she loved my clients she doesn’t really like the job so one day she just left with no back up plan or idea what she wanted to do. Then she started to film YouTube videos with her boyfriend. Their video 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf went viral and it’s now had more then 30 million views. A passion for fashion, coupled with a keen eye and an undeniable business savvy make her a perennially stylish standout, seen each day on her personal platform, Wendy’s Lookbook. Both, YouTube channel and her blog are highly popular. So, no wonder why she has been listed as one of the worlds most influential fashion bloggers.

Wendy started her fashion and style oriented blog with an aim to help girls with similar body types as hers with making up stylish outfits that will best flatter their body types. Since Wendy’s height is only 152 cm and her shoe size is 5, it is really problematic finding the nice fitting clothing for her petite frame.

As Wendy says, her style is always evolving. It’s classic with a modern twist. She relates her style most to Chiara Ferragni, Rumi Neely, Olivia Palermo, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. For her flawless looks Wendy finds inspiration in everything including architecture, nature, art, culture, music and even people. In Wendy’s opinion fashion is about combining all of these things together. Moreover, she sees it as an instrument that allows playing with different hues and shapes to build unique looks and thus reveal her own style. In Wendy’s wardrobe prevails clothing by high street brands like Zara, Forever 21 and ASOS. As for the accessories, which are used to adding a character to a look, she favors luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Christian Louboutin and Valentino.
