My Favorite Fashion Blogs: Southern Curls and Pearls

Hey my beautiful ladies! This time I want to introduce you with one of my favorite blogger and her fashion blog which should definitely be on your bookmark list. The fashion blogger of the day is Caitlin Covington, the 25 years old chic mastermind behind the fashion blog, Southern Curls and Pearls. So, read on if you want to find out more about Caitlin and check out some of her magnificent outfits.

Caitlin was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C. After attending college in Chapel Hill, she moved to Greenville, S.C. for a year to take a job in public relations. Now she is back in her hometown and turned to blogging and Instagramming full time.

She started this blog in her junior year of college (2011) to document her day-to-day life and as a creative outlet to express her love for fashion, beauty, healthy eating, fitness and life in general. The blog has grown a lot since 2011… things really changed when she received her Nikon for Christmas and started focusing mainly on fashion.

Her biggest support and also her personal photographer is her mother, Carla.

When you ask her to describe her signature look she would say: “Classic and timeless with a few trendy pieces thrown in. I love pairing staple items with fun, unexpected accessories, like adding leopard-print heels to a little black dress.” She also believes that you can never leave your house without mascara and sparkly jewels. You will see her with simple make-up looks but always combining her accessories with jewels in the most fashionable way.
