Autumn people can take a deep breath now – summer’s moving on and taking along with it all of the tacky sandals and uncomfortable flip flops. It’s time to take out those much-loved sneakers from the closet, or better yet get yourself a new pair of kicks especially for fall 2020. There’s a lot of buzz around new collections coming out, so we’re here to set things straight.
We’ve got the top-notch sneakerhead behind YankeeKicks with us to make some sense into everything that’s going to be on shelves at shoe stores and – more importantly – online shops. We knew we can count on YankeeKicks’ word just by looking at the wide collection on their website and the huge crowd that has been following them ever since establishment. So let’s get going without further ado: here’s what you should know about the sneakers we’ve all been waiting for, from the guy behind one of the hottest sneaker marketplaces today.
We’ve seen a lot of collaborations between sneaker brands and musicians, but this (with Pharell Williams) stands out above the rest – maybe because both adidas and Pharell are just the type to stand out. While the price is not exactly our definition of ‘cheap’, YankeeKicks are pretty sure it’s worth it. “If it’s adidas quality and Pharell is the mastermind behind the design, it’s worth a good buck”. Photos have already been driving the web mad, especially of the eye-catching green.
Very few things are as timeless as Air Jordans are – they simply never grow old. Now they’re coming out with a black-wheat version that has been driving social media crazy (and it hasn’t even been released yet). Their design is a perfect fall fit, a bit higher than your average sneakers and the colors scream out autumn leaves. Retail price is supposed to start at $100 but can go as high as $200, so prefer reliable sources like the YankeeKicks store.
Sacai x Nike Pegasus VaporFly SP
This collaboration between fashion giants Sacai and Nike has not disappointed yet and, with the new Pegasus VaporFly model, it’s still a safe bet. This one’s for all of you joggers out there. While there are only three choices when it comes to colors, this shoe is definitely one to keep an eye out for when it hits the market – probably sometime this month. The prices haven’t been disclosed yet but, relying on previous models, it’s not going to be cheap at all. Bottom line – good to have if you’ve got the budget for it, or if you are as obsessed with jogging as they come.
Nike Air Force 1 Low
One thing that can definitely be said about this shoe before anything else, is that it’s extremely eye-catching. The gold foil on the Swooshes gets your gaze right away. Their short body makes them ideal for daily wear but better be careful with that white while going out on rainy days. No exact retail price published yet, but it is estimated to start at around $120. Worth it or not? You be the judge, but YankeeKicks say it’s on the softer side of pricing (in other words, it’s a bargain)
Missed Kanye’s brand? Well, it’s back with a somewhat futuristic look. Yep, not exactly an autumn shoe by definition, but we just had to add it to the list. The prices are way, way above average and you probably won’t find the Arzaerth ones for less than $600. For Yeezy fans it’s definitely worth shelling out some dollars, according to YankeeKicks. If you’re less familiar with the brand, try something more orthodox before you dive in.
