Les Rêves Bohémiens - Galia Lahav Spring 2016 Bridal Collection

We were thrilled by Galia Lahav’s Spring 2016 runway presentation at the New York Bridal Week, but seeing the wedding dresses in this shoot by Greg Swales made us realize how truly magical this collection is.

For the “Les Reves Bohemiens” collection the inspiration is classic romance with fairytale elements. The collection consists of fifteen timeless pieces (with names such as Cinderella and Snow White), in hues of ice blue, dusty rose, champagne, and ivory. Galia retains the traditional emphasis on the waistline, which when combined with the new silhouette creates a captivating, romantic look. There is a layering of fabrics and fabric combinations that create an illusion of depth in the patterns and colors, making the gowns look more dreamy and aesthetic to the eye. The dresses embody details of light, soft draping, and the delicate flares inspired by wings. The necklines are very detailed and trimmed in hand embroidery, and all the exquisite jewelry pieces are hand beaded, with intricate three-dimensional details using brushed and antique silver.

Along with the bridal collection, Galia has also created a range of 14-karat gold bridal accessories. Each divine with lovely combinations of colors and semi-precious stones, from rich lavender to deep jade green.

With this level of mastery, it is safe to say that Galia has finally won in her desire to redefine fashion for women by creating worlds most sought out dresses.
