Donatella Versace unexpectedly turns to the style of the 50s, specifically the high fashion of legendary designer Charles James, to his love of structured aesthetics and to his unusual approach to to making the creations. “He made me to think of new volumes and new construction, but through the eyes of Versace” – said 59-year-old designer. “I love the high fashion of the 50’s.
